Ukraine claims Russia has been “completely destroyed” Dnipro Airport
The airport in the city of Ukraine Center Dnipro has been completely destroyed in fresh Russian shootings, a local official said Sunday.
“There is another attack at Dnipro Airport. There is nothing left of it. The airport itself and the surrounding infrastructure have been destroyed. Rocket continues to fly and fly,” Head of the City Military Administration, Valentin Reznichenko, said on the telegram.
He added that the authorities tried to clarify information about victims.
Reznichenko said the attack in the city, located on the banks of the Dnieper river, increased on Sunday.
The industrial city of one million people has been targeted by Russian forces since the Russian invasion but so far has been spared from great destruction.
The announcement came as Ukraine, who rejected Russian attacks in Kyiv, anticipating the updated Kremlin attacks in the east and south of the country.
