Omicron alert: Here are Christmas, New Year restrictions imposed around the world

Omicron cases multiply at fast speed throughout Europe, the United States, Britain and Asia.

The rapid spread of the omicron variant of Coronavirus disease is likely to reduce the celebration of Christmas and New Year in many parts of the world because the government is discussing whether to provide a limit to prevent the surge in Covid-19 cases.

Omicron spreads have crossed throughout the United States, the United Kingdom and several European and Asian countries become dominant tensions. Some countries have, thus, impose locking and caution restrictions to prevent further outbreaks.

The following are the limits imposed around Christmas and New Year throughout the world:

The Netherlands imposed a difficult national locking from Sunday to control the infection sharply, even when European leaders of neighbors chose something less tight.
South Korea, Germany and Ireland have also decided to restore partial or full locking, as well as other social distance steps, given the recent Covid-19 surge.
The US has added eight more countries to the “high-risk” list after Omicron becomes a dominant strain circulating. However, President Joe Biden rejects locking speculation and emphasizes the importance of being protected from a wave of infection associated with a new variant.
England has not made decisions about locking on Christmas and New Year but must show vaccination certificates at nightclubs and large parties. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday admitted that the situation was “very difficult”.
Ireland had issued orders to close entries in the pub and bar after 8pm.
France has imposed a ban on blankets on fireworks on Christmas and New Year to avoid large meetings.
New Zealand has delayed the reopening of its international border because several other countries regulate social distance measures. On the other hand, Australian PM has suggested the final for locking.
The Ministry of Health of Singapore was alert to Omicron cases and were testing to determine whether the variant was behind a group of cases in the gym.
Israel has forbidden trips from 10 countries starting today.
Meanwhile, India has not announced a large restriction besides those in the light of Omicron. This country has so far reported at least 200 new variants, according to the Ministry of Health Union.
