Russia prohibits airlines from 36 countries from airspace because sanctions are hit hard
Rosaviaviasia – Russian Federal Air Transportation Agent said that flights from these countries will be permitted to use airspace if they obtain special permits from state flight authorities or foreign ministries.
Russia on Monday forbade airlines from 36 countries from the airspace in retaliation to sanctions related to Ukraine against the state after its military attack in Ukraine. 36 countries include 27 European Union members.
Russia became the largest country in the world, the prohibition of the airspace will hit an airplane to Asia from Europe, making them force them to find alternative routes.

Rosaviaviasia, Russian Federal Air Transport Agent, previously named several countries from the list – including Britain, Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic, from which flights have been banned. On Monday, some countries added to the list for the first time.
However, the agency said that flights from 36 countries could be permitted to use Russian airspace if they secured a special permit from the State Flight Authority or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
