Pakistan authority cancels land allotment for Hindu temple in Islamabad

In other cases of discrimination against religious minorities, the City Development Authority (CDA) in the National Capital of Pakistan, Islamabad has canceled land rations for a temple.

Previously, a plot was allocated for the Hindu community for the construction of temples, community centers and crematoriums, according to vernacular media reports.

A citizen has appealed the construction of the temple and advocated Javed Iqbal to argue that city authorities have canceled allotment of the federal cabinet instructions.

The Federal Cabinet has instructed CDA to cancel all allotments in the ‘green area’ if construction has not been carried out.

This comes as a report on discrimination and attack on religious minorities has soared in the country.

Last month, unknown people searched Hindu temples in covers in the province of Sindh Pakistan, creating a wave of hatred among local Hindus.

After breaking through idols, those people fled with Lakh in cash and other valuables, according to Vernacular media reports.
