On Taliban’s Panjshir claim, Massoud calls for ‘national uprising’: 10 points
The Taliban are occupied in the formation of a government to govern Afghanistan, with its spokesman saying that the leadership will be announced soon. He asked if the United States would recognize the Taliban, President Joe Biden told reporters at the White House on Monday at the last minute: “That’s a long way outside.”
The Taliban have claimed victory in the last part of Afghanistan who still reside against their government, declaring that the Panshir Valley is now under its control. The forces of resistance, however, have said that the fight is not yet over.
The images in social networks showed Taliban members standing in front of the door of the provincial governor’s compound Panjshir after days of fight against the National Resistance Front (NRF), commanded by Ahmad Masloud, the son of the Legend of the Guerrilla Commander From Afghanistan, Commander Ahmad Shah Masud.
Ahmad Masloud, meanwhile, requested a “national uprising” against the Taliban.
Here are the latest developments in the war in progress in Panjshir:
