Netflix has officially Renewed Emily in Paris For Two More Seasons
Netflix has officially renewed Darren Star’s comedy- drama Emily in Paris for two further seasons.
The Season 3 and Season 4 renewal comes after nearly three weeks since the Lily Collins- led series had made its return. According to the banderole, the alternate season dominated the Global Netflix Top 10 list across 94 countries. It has been streamed for over 100 million hours for its first five days.
“ In Season 2, now more settled in her life in Paris, Emily’s getting better at navigating the megacity but still floundering with the quiddities of French life,” reads the sanctioned logline. “ After stumbling into a love triangle with her neighbor and her first real French friend, Emily is determined to concentrate on her work — which is getting more complicated by the day. Also, in French class, she meets a fellowex-pat” — aka Alfie — “ who both infuriates and schemes her.”
Emily in Paris focuses on Emily (Collins), an ambitious twenty- commodity marketing superintendent from Chicago, who suddenly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company — and she’s assigned with revamping their social media strategy. Emily’s new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work associates, making musketeers, and navigating new loves.
Joining Collins are Ashley Park ( Tales of the City), Philippine Leroy Beaulieu ( Call My Agent), Lucas Bravo (Smart Ass), Samuel Arnold (Antony & Cleopatra), Camille Razat (The 1517 to Paris), and Bruno Gouery (Doc Martin). The recreating cast canon includes Kate Walsh, William Abadie, and Arnaud Viard.
Emily in Paris was created and administrative produced by Darren Star, the creator behind popular classic shows similar as Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Coitus and the City. Directors are Collins and Andrew Fleming, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns of Jax Media.
