‘Missile Threat’: Warning heard in Kyiv as Russian forces moved closer
The Russian Ukrainian War: Taking into the telegram of the social media platform, the Head of the Olexiy Regional Administration of Kuleba said there was a missile attack threat.
Air warnings were heard on Wednesday in and around the capital of Ukraine Kyiv and residents were urged to reach the resilience urgently.
Taking to the Telegram Instant Messaging Platform, Olexiy Kuleba Regional Administration Head said there was a missile attack threat. “The Kyiv region – air warnings. The threat of a missile attack. Everyone immediately to the shelter,” he wrote.
The development came in the middle of Russian reports violating the agreement for the evacuation of safe citizens for the third time.
The city of Mariupol, who sits at the Azov Sea, has been surrounded by Russian soldiers for days and the humanitarian crisis is underway in the city which is estimated at 4.30,000.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian corridor from Sumy City which is surrounded will continue for that day, said the Dmytro Zhydtskyy region. He separately said the city housing area had been bombed overnight, with at least one bomb killing 22 civilians.
About 5,000 people drove a bus out of the northeastern city on Tuesday after Moscow and Kyiv agreed on the corridor, he said, and around 1,000 cars could also leave, moving towards the city of Poltava.
The Russian invasion of a pro-west neighbor entered the second week on Wednesday. His troops were said to have advanced far along the Ukrainian coastline, after battered cities along the road.
The effort to create a safe corridor for evacuation stumbles in the middle of the battle continues. Both parties have held at least three rounds of talks with little results.
