Flights were canceled, alert sounded as a strong storm for England

Amsterdam: The Dutch Flagship Airline KLM said it had canceled flights 167 scheduled on Friday for towering storms.
“Because of the weather of the storm in Amsterdam on Thursday, February 17 and Friday, February 18, 2022, our flights to, from, or through the Amsterdam Schiphol airport may be disrupted,” the company said in a statement, added that 167 flights had been canceled.

On Thursday, the Dutch meteorological service issued a warning for the Storm Eunice, which is expected to hit the country on Friday.

The current wind speed reaches 139 kilometers per hour (86 miles per hour) in several parts of the country.
