This Bollywood actress is ‘excited’ to be cast as baddie in Prabhas’ Saaho
Mumbai: Actor and host Mandira Bedi is ready to feature as an antagonist within the much-anticipated Prabhas-starrer ‘Saaho’.
The 45-year-old actor has bound up the primary schedule of the shoot in Hyderabad and can even be seen performing some action stunts.
“It’s a negative character and that i am excited about it. The one woman amongst a gang of negative characters. But someone who holds her own during a world of men. it is a great team and can be an excellent movie,” says Mandira.
The actor, whose career spans for over 21 years within the industry, catapulted to fame because the protagonist in 1990’s television program ‘Shanti’ and went on to seem in films like ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ and ‘Shaadi Ka Laddoo’.
Mandira also appeared in ‘Kyunki… Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and began off another inning on the tiny screen because the host for ICC Cricket World Cups (2003, 2007), the Champions Trophies (2004, 2006) and therefore the Indian Premier League season two.
The Sujeeth Reddy-directed movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor opposite Prabhas, along side Jackie Shroff and Chunky Pandey.
The film is being made and can be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
‘Saaho’ are going to be shot in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Abu Dhabi for subsequent few months.a
