1st S-400 unit to be ready by April, 4 others by 2023

All five S-400 system units, which can reduce aircraft or missiles in the range of between 40 km and 400 km, are expected to operate next year.

India has begun working to mobilize the Triumf Triumf S-400 Rudal-to-Air Defense System, with the first unit made operational in April, HT learning.

While the Government of Narendra Modi still turned strictly about the entire project, officials with direct knowledge of this issue had told Hindustan’s time that the five units would be deployed in the depth area to overcome threats from China.

All five S-400 system units, which can reduce aircraft or missiles in the range of between 40 km and 400 km, are expected to operate next year.

The S-400 system was purchased from Russia through a $ 5 billion deal signed in October 2018.

The Indian and PLA Chinese soldiers were locked in defense at Ladakh Lac at 597km since May 2020, with Beijing Reluctant to restore the status of April 2020, quo ante in Gogrry-Hot Springs and restore Indian patrol rights at the Bulge Department in Daulet Beg Oldi (DBO) sector and charding Nullah Junction (CNJ) in the Demchok sector. PLA has deployed two S-400 systems in LAC at Ngari Gar Gunsa (opposite Demchok) and Nyingchi (across Arunachal Pradesh) with the remaining three deployed to overcome the threat from the Indo-Pacific.

James O Brien, Nomination of President Joe Biden for the US State Department Coordinator for sanction policy, told the Senate Foreign Committee last Wednesday during the confirmation of hearing that the US had dropped India to obtain the S-400 system from Russia, Washington’s decision would give sanctions India under American enemies against Acts (or Caatsa; laws aimed at punishing Russia, North Korea and Iran and countries dealing with them, with extension) or giving neglecting only after weighing geostrategic considerations that are important in relationships with China. He said that it was difficult to compare India with Turkey (which had been approved by the US to buy the S-400 system from Russia) as the last was that NATO allies broke out with inheritance offers on defense procurement systems. Conversely, India is an increasingly important partner, and one with a legacy defense relationship with Russia.

HT learned that India had explained to our close allies through diplomatic and security channels on that the acquisition of the S-400 Russian system was in its national interest when faced with PLA who fought along 3,488 km-length LAC.

While India has offered a technical solution so that the S-400 system has no detail about US aircraft and helicopters produced by Russia, he has also decided that the five systems will be deployed to protect India from military threats from Beijing.

Already, the face of the two S-400 systems has arrived in India from Moscow and works to assemble the system and radar by a trained Indian team in Russia.

Analysts said that the fact that the system would be deployed against China might weigh on US decisions; China, at the moment, is the main concern of the US.

The S-400 system is one of the types with strong radar in the heart of an offensive air defense system.

This can track many targets in various ranges and neutralize it before enemy fighters, bombers or missiles, pose threats, using anti-missiles with varied ranges.

The S-400 system is very strong so that it can track, attract and handle the threat of Chinese fighters when they take off from the air base near the actual control line.
